New at the Winter Farmers’ Market!

Winter Farmers' Market, Rollinsford - 11/17/12Seacoast Eat Local’s Winter Farmers Market season opens this Saturday, November 23rd, at Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford, and we’re excited to have so many farmers and vendors returning with an even more diverse array of amazing food. The local food movement continues to grow here on the Seacoast and, for our seventh season, we’re pleased to welcome 11 new farms, fishermen and other food purveyors to tempt even the most seasoned market veteran.

You may already be familiar with Garen’s Greens and Canterbury Bread Shop — both were vendors in the past, in cooperation with Riverside Farm and Brookford Farm, and their businesses have grown enough to have their own booths at the market this year. Stop by to congratulate them, then stock up on local seafood from NH Community Seafood, grab some pickled vegetables from Maine Homestead to bring to your next holiday party, choose from Cracked An Egg Farm‘s assortment of free-range meats, or try some locally made cheeses from Wolf Meadow Farm.
