MISSION
Seacoast Eat Local cultivates a thriving food economy by building bridges between regional food producers and consumers.
VISION
The Seacoast Region will have a vibrant, diverse community of successful farms and food producers and ever-expanding access for consumers.
IMPACT STRATEGY
Seacoast Eat Local will continue to build a robust, well-functioning, and resilient organizational structure to promote access, equity, and opportunity across consumers, producers, and our organization. We will support producers in expanding their reach and their ability to thrive, while also supporting the ability of all consumers to access healthy local food. Through a commitment to excellence, we will enhance our identity, further increasing our ability to have a strong impact in the community.
Goal Areas
Food Producers
GOAL: Support a thriving and diverse community of successful producers
STRATEGY: Bolster historically marginalized producers, empower new food businesses, and serve as a link between producers and consumers.
OUTCOME: Producers are more easily able to connect with new customers and increase sales.
Food Consumers
GOAL: Increase year-round demand, access, and consumption of locally produced food
STRATEGY: Expose a wide range of people to local food through hands-on experiences, educational resources, and program offerings such as farmers’ markets and pop-up events.
OUTCOME: More people are eating local food, and they are eating more of it.
Equity and Inclusion
GOAL: Promote access, equity, and opportunity across consumers, producers, and our organization
STRATEGY: Commit to increasing the diversity of consumers, producers, staff, and board across all axes of socioeconomic status and personal identity.
OUTCOME: We have more inclusive program offerings for the diverse communities we serve.

GOAL: Establish our identity as a leading resource for advancing local food in the Seacoast
STRATEGY: Increase our visibility, build connections, and strive for excellence
OUTCOME: People know who we are and seek us out for programming, volunteer opportunities, and collaborations.

Seacoast Eat Local is a registered non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and all donations made to the organization are 100% tax-deductible. Our tax identification number is 45-2547575. The work we do and our impact rely on donations from a variety of individuals, families, and foundations and every donation is incredibly important.
