First YCFN Potluck supper and program of the winter is here! Please save December 4, for the 5:30 potluck and 6:30 pm program with Dr. David Handley, Vegetable & Small Fruit Specialist with UMaine Cooperative Extension. He will speak on the recent invasion in Maine of the Spotted Wing Drosophila fruit fly and its significant impact on small fruit growers in Maine, as well as other insect pests to be on the lookout for in your vegetable and fruit plantings. The latest research and management strategies will be discussed, with plenty of question and answer time.
