UNH Coop Extension Fruit Tree School

The tree fruit school is a two day program designed for new growers, orchard managers, and individuals looking to start an orchard. From managing the big three apple insects, to rootstock and variety selection and labor management we will cover everything you’ll need to know to get your farm off on the right foot. Students will be provided with pre-course reading materials, and are expected to engage, learn, and ask questions during this hands-on course. Come dressed to explore a New Hampshire Orchard.

Day 1: March 6, 4 to 8:15pm Dover High School
Day 2: March 8, 10am Hiram Watson Farm, Farmington (Dress for orchard exploration)

Cost: $50
Pesticide credits available
