It’s always good news when Seacoast farmers can put down permanent roots — congratulations to Kate and Jeff Donald on finding a new home for Stout Oak Farm! Many have been involved in the process, and special recognition goes to the current owners, Southeast Land Trust of NH, the Town of Brentwood, and the Natural Resources Conservation. Along with the Donalds, all have worked to ensure that these 55 acres remain open farmland. As Kate explained, “This is truly an amazing opportunity to be able to purchase a farm here on the Seacoast where we can put down roots, continue to grow vegetables for the local community, and invest in the long-term success of local agriculture.”
