Join the Southeast Land Trust Saturday July 21 from 2-4pm for an open house at Stout Oak Farm, now located at the historic Creamery Brook Farm on Middle Road in Brentwood, NH. This is a great chance to hear firsthand the challenges and joys of farming in New Hampshire from the land’s new owners, Kate and Jeff Donald. The Donalds acquired the property in January, which is protected by an easement held by the Land Trust. Participants will hear stories of the farm’s history from the Lyford family, learn of the plans and ambitions of the new owners, and have a chance to walk the open fields and see sweeping views from atop the hill.
