Interested in getting involved with a community garden right here in Dover? Come to this introductory meeting/workday to find out more. We’ll be giving an introduction and orientation to how the garden works and how you can get involved. Afterwards, feel free to stay to start right in on some projects! We’ll be planting seeds to be cared for indoors as well as direct-seeding cold-hardy crops like lettuce and peas. Bring some water, gloves and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty if you’re going to stay for the projects.
This is always a great event, and we hope to see you there!
Directions: The garden is located in Dover, NH on public land protected by a conservation easement. To get there from the center of town, take Central Ave northbound. Take a left on sixth street and after half a mile a left onto Hillside Drive. Drive (slowly) past the housing development on your right and take a right onto a gravel parking lot with a green shed (with spray paint on it, unfortunately…) at the far side. We will meet by the green shed for our introduction and orientation.
