Lettuce Be Community Garden
Location: 103 Pepperrell Rd (Congregational Church Yard), Kittery Point, ME

Description: The gardens are a project of the Kittery Point Congregational Church with contributions from the Town of Kittery and local business and friends, not members of the church. This is the first year of the gardens; we have 6 raised beds 4’x6′, we have provided some seedlings for each garden (tomatoes, green peppers, and eggplant) and have seed to share (carrots, lettuce, spinach, radish). We have a Maine Master Gardener to teach new gardeners and workshops on a variety of topics. No charge for the bed, take care of your own bed. We will be doing season extension workshops and a change-over of our crops in August.
