Market Notes: Brandmoore Farm and Throwback Brewery

We’re looking forward to catching up with old friends as well as new at the Winter Farmers’ Market this Saturday, November 17th! Among our 50+ vendors, welcome Brandmoore Farm and Throwback Brewery, who are joining us for their first season with us!

Brandmoore Farm

Located in Rollinsford, NH, this is Brandmoore Farm’s first year along the scenic Salmon Falls River. Phil Brand and Rebecca Moore established the farm in Spring 2012, where all farming practices and feed at this family-run affair are organic, and their on-site farm store is open year-round. From their growing herd of grass-fed cows, Phil and Rebecca will be bringing to the market their raw milk, cream, yogurt, and cheese curds — Yes, cheese curds! — plus pasture-raised eggs and pork. Stop by and congratulate the newly-married couple! Website: www.brandmoorefarm.com

Throwback Brewery

Yes, local beer at the market! Nicole Carrier and Annette Lee of Throwback Brewery work hard to incorporate ingredients from local farms into their brews. Lucky for us, they also worked hard to advocate for passage of a law allowing microbrews to sell bottled beer at farmers’ markets. If you haven’t already visited them at their brewery in North Hampton, NH, drop by their booth and find out all about New Hampshire’s “beer-oir”! Website: www.throwbackbrewery.com
