Introducing SNAP at the Winter Farmers’ Market

We’ve just complete our first round of training and are thrilled to announce that 21 farms and food producers are now able to accept food stamps, also known as SNAP, at the Winter Farmers’ Market. SNAP customers can swipe their EBT cards at the market SNAP booth, and then use tokens to shop with approved vendors. With almost 1 in 10 families in New Hampshire on food stamps, this is a welcome step towards increasing access for those in our community in need of help buying food, while returning food dollars to our local economy.

The following farms and food producers will be accepting SNAP tokens on Saturday, November 19th, at the Winter Farmers’ Market in Rollinsford, with more joining up soon!

Anderson’s Mini Maples
Apple Annie
Brookford Farm
Coppal House Farm
Hollister Family Farm
