Take some of the mystery out of keeping a family cow. Learn about how she
and her calf can fit into an organically managed homestead and market
gardens. Topics touched on would include general health care, basic
shelter, animal husbandry, handling, pasture, hay, feeding, calving and
calf management, milking and milk handling.

Joel and Annalisa Miller have been keeping a small dairy herd for 4 years, while building a growing market garden business and turning an old 1700′s homestead back into a working farm.

Please contact Joel Miller to register at 603-812-1944, or email [email protected]. This workshop is limited to 15 people, and spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
