We have reached that point in the summer where the departure of our seasonal, mostly student, staff is right around the corner. Some are new to the farrm and some have now been with us for two or more seasons. However, farming doesn’t stop on Labor Day! As we have become a year round farming operation we have taken on year round staff and expanded the definition of seasonal farm work to include November and sometimes even December.
The farm has openings right now for field work, CSA pickups and farmers markets. We are looking for team players with a good sense of humor and a love for local food. We do a lot of lifting of heavy baskets of veggies and it is often hot, wet and buggy in the field and before we know it possibly even cold! The work isn’t always easy but brings a lot of satisfaction and you are surrounded by delicious produce all the time.
