Let’s share our dreams and plans for the coming growing season in the form of seeds! Do you have more of something than you need? Are you interested in learning about new and unusual varieties and trying them out? This is a great opportunity for you to do both. Bring your over-large packets that you purchased, and seeds you saved from your own gardens and let’s spread the wealth.
The event is free and open to all, though donations to the meetup group will be gratefully accepted. Please be on time so you won’t miss the introductions when everyone gets to explain what they brought. This is an important part of the process so that we all know what is available and can figure out what we would like to swap. No one goes home empty handed and everyone usually leaves with more than they came with!
You can also bring items other than seeds – especially home/homestead made treasures like your own canned goods, eggs, honey, wool, etc.
