Local Roots Food Fair
Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, Dover, NH
Wednesday, July 20, 2011
1–4 p.m.

In partnership with Hannaford Supermarkets, the Children’s Museum of NH presents the Local Roots Food Fair on July 20 from 1–4 p.m. Come celebrate the abundance of locally produced foods in New Hampshire. There will be plenty of free food samples featured in Hannaford’s “Close to Home” program plus interactive games, activities and coupons.

Meet volunteers from Seacoast Eat Local and the Seacoast Grower’s Association to learn where to find the closest sources for delicious and nutritious farm foods.

Sample fresh foods from Brookdale Fruit Farm (fresh fruit), McLures Honey, White Mountain Kettlecorn, Abigail’s Bakery (whole grain baked goods), Chamberlain Springs Water, Echo Farm (pudding), Putnam’s maple product, plus Omega-3 milk and Late July cookies provided by Stonyfield Farm.

The Local Roots Food Fair is included with regular paid admission and free for museum members.
