Canterbury Shaker Village begins this season’s series of cooking classes with “Cooking with a Sense of Place: A Slow Food Dinner with a Modern Twist.” Taught by Evan Mallett of the Black Trumpet Bistro, this hands-on class takes place on Thursday, June 28th, from 6 to 8:30pm in Canterbury:

Hands-on culinary classes with some of the region’s most celebrated and innovative chefs! Learn technique with masters of the art, then enjoy the food you create. Join Chef Evan Mallett, owner of Black Trumpet Bistro in Portsmouth, for an evening of inspiring culinary demonstration with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Use local food to create a dish that is modern, comforting and delicious.
