The NH Division of Weights & Measures will be holding two of their free inspection clinics at Wentworth Greenhouses on Tuesday, March 6th, and at the UNH Cooperative Ext. Office in Brentwood on Thursday, March 8th:

Thursday, March 8, 2 – 4 p.m.
This clinic is for anyone who grows and sells their own agricultural products and who uses a scale commercially at Farmers’ Markets or at a Farm Stand in New Hampshire. The inspection and certification is free to growers who have three or fewer scales under 100 lb. capacity and no other commercial devices. In addition to the inspection, Weights & Measures Staff will also be available to answer questions with regard to method of sale, taking a tare, registered service companies, or how to apply for a license.
Attendees should bring: legal-for-trade scale and any necessary accessories; and scale license (if you have one).
