Cameron Wake on Climate Change in New England, January 31

The decisions we make over the next decade regarding how we produce and use energy will determine the future climate of New England. Climatologist Dr. Cameron Wake will be discussing recent research regarding climate change and its impact on the New England eco-system and economy on Tuesday, January 31st at 7 p.m. at the Rye Public Library:

Join the Rye Energy Committee and the Rye Public Library for a special presentation on climate change by world- renowned climatologist Dr. Cameron Wake of the University of New Hampshire and Carbon Solutions New England. Learn what we can do to improve our energy efficiency and how developing local sources of energy can serve to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, improve our economic and energy security, and reduce our vulnerability to oil and gas price spikes in the future.

Dr. Wake is Associate Professor, Institute for the Study of Earth, Ocean and Space, University of New Hampshire.
