Celebrate the Harvest Season with Brookford Farm, Canterbury NH. Come visit the farm for a day of family fun. The many activites planned for our 3rd Annual Quark Fest will include Farm Tours, Pumpkin Carving, Farm Food, Live Music, Children’s Games, Bon-Fire, a Quark Recipe Contest, CSA Information, and Demonstrations on Fermenting, Canning, Culturing, and Grass-Fed Meats.
Quark Recipe Contest
Win a Fall/Winter Session Veggie Share! The recipe can be any recipe whether sweet or savory, in which quark is a prominent ingredient. We will provide you with the quark, if it is requested in advance. Please go to our website for entry form and contest rules. Prizes will be awarded to the top three recipes.
What is Quark? Quark is german for “curds.” It is similar to ricotta, it’s great as a spread or it can be used in savory dinner dishes or sweet desserts.
