We’re delighted that the 5th Annual Pie Bake and Auction sponsored by A Perfect Move has chosen Seacoast Eat Local’s SNAP/EBT Farmers’ Market Program as this year’s recipient — get out those pie pans and get baking for a good cause! This event is free and open to the public, and takes place in Kittery, ME, on Friday, October 5th, starting at 12 pm. Those bearing pies are kindly asked to arrive at 11:30 am; judging will commence at 12:25 pm, with the auction following immediately. Bid early and bid often!

12 Noon (if you are baking a pie and entering in the contest please arrive at 11:30 am with your pie)
Competitive Bakers from all over the seacoast bake pies, enter them into the contest, the pies are judged by a team of local notables, (we allow bribery!) the ribbons are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in two categories — Best Tasting, Best Looking; we also award a 1st place for Top Chef (professional category) a People’s Choice and we give away a trophy to the Biggest Bidder (awarded to the person in the bidding audience who places the single highest bid for a pie — last year this was in excess of $200!) We have an auctioneer on hand, and once the ribbons are awarded the auction begins! Live auctions are always so much fun! Howard Koeppel will be the auctioneer this year.
Enjoy a Delightful Complimentary Lunch while you wait for the exciting LIVE Auction to begin with Brownies for dessert from Barbara’s Brownies! Judging will take place beginning right at 12:15; with the auction immediately following! We promise a great time and encourage you to Bring a Friend!
