Food and Health Forum Dinner Seminar
Blue Moon Evolution, 8 Clifford St, Exeter, NH

6:30 – 9pm

We’re excited to welcome Barton Seaver on February 11th to the Blue Moon Evolution for a thought-provoking dinner seminar on how changing our eating habits can lead to environmental sustainability and a more fulfilled community.

In his newest role as Director of the Healthy and Sustainable Food Program at the Center for Health and the Global Environment at Harvard University, Barton Seaver will help students, policymakers, clinicians, corporations and the public understand food choices and how they impact human health and the environment.

Seaver was named a National Geographic Fellow for his tireless work and initiatives to preserve depleted seafood specimens by suggesting substitutes. A main focus of his work as been in helping to develop the Seafood Decision Guide, a decision tool which helps to inform consumers by consolidating sustainability, mercury, and Omega-3 data in one convenient location. Seaver is also author of For Cod and Country, in which he introduces an entirely new kind of casual cooking featuring seafood that hasn’t been overfished or harvested using destructive methods.

The price of the dinner seminar is $55. You’ll notice we’ve lowered it a bit from last year to make it more affordable for everyone. This year we’ll feature a family-style dinner with a salad, hardy soup or stew, salad and dessert. Cuisine, community and conversation!
