Live Free and Shuck: Oyster Farm Tour & Demonstration<\/h2>\n

Ever wanted to know how an oyster grows? Or how an oyster farm is run? Or why this keystone species is important to the ecosystem of the bay? Join Laura, owner of Fox Point Oysters, for a guided, interactive discussion about oysters and oyster farming, while standing knee-deep in the beautiful tidal waters of Little Bay, part of the Great Bay estuary. See how aquaculture gear is used to grow productive oyster yields, and learn how these friendly bivalves help protect our waters. A shucking demonstration will give participants the chance to learn from a pro to be able to show off to their friends and family. Live Free and Shuck is an educational experience you will not forget!<\/p>\n
