Drink Local Tasting Event – Meet the Guests!

Drink LocalSeacoast Eat Local will be hosting a Drink Local Tasting Event during the next Winter Farmers’ Market. The event takes place March 14th from 11:00am-1:30pm at the Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford, NH. The Winter Market runs from 10am – 2pm, so there will still be plenty of time to stock up on local foods.

Seacoast Eat Local strives to connect people with the farmers that grow their food and food producers that make an effort to be a part of the agricultural community by sourcing from local farms. This effort extends to a growing number of beverage crafters that have started incorporating more local ingredients. Seacoast Eat Local is excited to be bringing together brewers, distillers, cider and mead makers to share their stories and offer an opportunity to ‘Drink Local’ at the Winter Farmers’ Market.

Entrance into the Farmers’ Market is free. The Tasting will have a $5 entrance fee. You must be 21 or older to participate and have a valid photo ID. Proceeds from the event support Seacoast Eat Local and their Winter Farmers’ Market program.

Our vision at Throwback is to acquire 100% of our ingredients (such as hops, wheat, barley, fruit, and spices) from within 200 miles of the brewery. Currently, we are about 70 to 90% of the way there (depending on the beer) – which is really unique for the industry and something we are quite proud of.’
