I plan to talk it up on my blog, as well as eat local and write about it. I’d like to challenge myself to organize the Lakes Region food producers around the event. I’ll see what I can do up this way!

Slow Food Seacoast is inviting anyone interested in eating locally to its Public Potluck & Meeting on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at 5:30 PM in Stoodley’s Tavern at STrawbery Banke Museum. We’re asking everyone to bring a dish to share including at least one locally grown or raised ingredient. During the meeting, we’ll brainstorm ways that each of us plans to incorporate local foods during the week, and share the results on the web!
