In honor of NH Eat Local Month the Farmers’ Market of Keene, in partnership with the Cheshire County Conservation District, will remove the $10 cap on Granite State Market Match. Customers paying with EBT, or SNAP, can double their dollars — with no limit during the entire month of August! For each dollar spent they are matched a dollar to purchase more local fruits and vegetables from vendors at the market.

By Becka Warren, Vital Communities: Love Your Farmer Scavenger Hunts at participating farmers’ markets in the Upper Valley, to Celebrate New Hampshire Eat Local Month and Vermont Open Farm week August 15-21. Every kid gets a small prize for participating and is entered in to a raffle to win a grand prize when they return their hunt.
