Part-Time Farm Educator, Summer 2015

Community Roots at Coppal House Farm in Lee, NH is currently seeking a part time farm educator to help run our farm camp. The camp runs for 6 weeks Tue/Wed/Thurs from 9am-1pmJuly 7–Aug 13. Camp participants are 5–10 years old. Days are spent outside, gardening, exploring, ponding, learning about the farm, animals, food, and nature.

Hours are 8:30–1:30. It is also helpful if you are available for a few hours a week in June for program planning and preparation. Candidates must love working with children, being outside, and having fun. Any experience with farming, gardening, ecology, etc, is very helpful! We welcome your ideas and creativity, so be prepared to help plan some fun activities! Must have reliable transportation and be able to commit to all 6 weeks.

Community Roots is a small farm-based education program in its third year of operation. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person with lots of passion and ideas for farm/environmental education. There may be additional opportunites in the future to help grow our program. We will hire someone as soon as the right person comes along!
