Seacoast Entrepreneur Showcase, October 24th

Seacoast Forward and Seacoast Local present The Seacoast Entrepreneur Showcase

Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, 7 – 9 PM

White Heron Cafe, 601 Islington St., Portsmouth

To have healthy, delicious locally-grown food, you need a thriving local economy, and to have that, you need local ‘seed’ money.  Be part of this gathering of investors, entrepreneurs and community members who are passionate about building a local economy based on the values of community well-being and sustainability. The highlight will be the “lightning” presentations by local entrepreneurs sharing their plans to start or expand these ventures (many of which are food-based):

  • UNH Net Impact – Initiative to analyze potential for microfinance in the Seacoast
  • Islinglass River Hop Exchange – Processor of locally grown hops for area micro-breweries
  • Economic Information Exchange – new venture to provide product “Impact Ratings” on state and national level
  • Juice Burger – Granite State’s first “farm-to-sidewalk” food truck
  • Serenity Cafe & Market – Rye café and market looking to expand to a 2nd location in Kittery
  • Hopestill Garage Restaurant – Chef Evan Mallet of the Black Trumpet presents his plan to fund new restaurant utilizing “edible” shares

RSVP at seacoastcommunitycapital.com

The showcase is not an offer to sell securities or a solicitation of an offer to buy securities
