Rollinsford Community Garden Seeking Community Input

If you’re interested in keeping the Rollinsford Community Garden going, now is the time to get involved!

As 2012 comes to a close, the RGLSC and the Rollinsford Community Gardens is at a crossroad. Most of the board of directors, who are the founding parties of the RGLSC and the organic Community Garden, have all chased their interests, which has brought them into different communities in far off places! While that is wonderful news for them, it leaves us with some decisions to make for the future of the RGLSC and the Community Gardens. We had a brainstorming session on Monday night and have concluded that we can either (A) Dissolve the nonprofit and turn the gardens back over to the town, or (B) Seek out new interest and appoint new board members who could pick up where we left off and run with it.

If you have an interest, or know someone who might, please contact me. With enough interest, we will schedule a meeting with the current board of directors and proceed accordingly.

Thank you!
