Knitters, spinners, weavers, dyers, felters, rug hookers, basket weavers and fiber animals will all be gathering Sunday, August 12th from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Riverslea Farm in Epping for the third annual Seacoast Fiber Fest. Weaving to watch and try, felting to do with hands and feet, dyeing demonstrations, and sheep shearing are just some of the many things there will be to see. Yarns, fibers, fiber tools, woven, felted and knitted goods will all be offered for sale and in the shop the glorious fleeces, yarns and combed fibers from the Riverslea sheep. There will be fiber animals as well, angora rabbits and Shetland sheep, alpacas and mohair goats, come meet some of the wonderful creatures who provide us with the natural fibers we work with.
So come join us for a summer time celebration of fiber, once again at beautiful Riverslea Farm, just off of Route 125. Check out www.riversleafarm.com for details and directions. Please no dogs or other pet animals are allowed. Sorry, no farm tours during the Fest.
