Stout Oak Farm Open House, July 21

The Southeast Land of NH has several events this summer at conserved farms in the Seacoast, co-sponsored by Seacoast Eat Local:

Open House at Stout Oak Farm
Southeast Land Trust of NH
Stout Oak Farm, 83 Middle Rd, Brentwood, NH
Saturday, July 21, 2012
2 – 4pm

Join the Southeast Land Trust for an open house at Stout Oak Farm, now located at the historic Creamery Brook Farm on Middle Road! This is a great chance to hear first hand the challenges and joys of farming in New Hampshire from the land’s new owners, Kate and Jeff Donald. The Donalds acquired the property in January, which is protected by an easement held by the Land Trust. Participants will hear stories of the farm’s history from the Lyford family, learn of the plans and ambitions of the new owners, and have a chance to walk the open fields and see sweeping views from atop the hill.

Please register in advance by contacting the Southeast Land Trust at (603) 778-6088 or emailing
