Learn how to can fruits and vegetables at the UNH Cooperative Extension’s class Preserving Your Harvest: The Basics of Preserving Food Safely on Monday, August 6th, from 6 to 8pm at the Rockingham County Complex. Cost is $5 per person; register ahead and pay at the door.

Join us this summer for one of UNH Cooperative Extension’s home food preservation workshops! We’ll cover the latest research-based methods and recipes, answer questions, and share experiences about these topics:

– an overview of preserving food safely at home
– jams and jellies
– pickling
– canning fruits and vegetables
– freezing and drying food

Cost: $5.00 per person. Register ahead… pay at the door.
