Come Explore and Learn about the Farmers’ Market!
Have you ever tasted a tomato right off the vine, or sweet honey made by bees right nearby? This is your chance to visit the market and learn about all the delicious foods grown and produced right here in New Hampshire! Join us for fun activities that teach kids about fruits and vegetables and good nutrition that helps them grow up healthy and strong. The market is always a fun place to be with so many new tastes, sights, and smells, as well as live music!
Did you know the farmers’ market accepts SNAP/EBT? Come to the Scavenger Hunt and show your SNAP/EBT card to get $10 of market tokens absolutely FREE! Use these tokens to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, jams, honey, maple syrup, meat, eggs, and even food producing plants.
The Kids Scavenger Hunt is a collaboration between Seacoast Eat Local, Seacoast Growers’ Association and Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters program, locally hosted by the New Hampshire Food Bank.
Support provided by the Thomas W. Haas Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
