August is NH Eat Local Month!
Time to celebrate all of our great local foods and local agriculture with NH Eat Local Month in August! Visit www.nheatlocal.org for a list of activities around the state.
The month begins with NH Farmers’ Market Week, August 5–11 — visit a farmers’ market near you. Events include statewide preserving classes held through the UNH Cooperative Extension, a series of seasonal cooking classes at Berrybogg Farm, and a Community Corn Roast in Derry. Check the Events page often for additional listings!
NH Eat Local Month is a collaboration of the NH Department of Agriculture and dozens of businesses, individuals, and groups throughout the state.
