Local Food: Dover Farmers’ Market
Local farmers’ markets are filling up with summer’s colorful bounty! Turnips, beets, radishes and green onions from Connolly’s Garden at Wednesday’s Dover Farmers’ Market, just one of the vendors at this newly expanded market. For a full list of vendors, visit www.seacoastgrowers.org. Dover is also participating in Seacoast Eat Local’s SNAP at the Farmers’ Market Program. As part of this program, SNAP benefits are now accepted here as well as at the Portsmouth Farmers’ Market this summer.
Local Food features sources found on the Seacoast, including farms, farmers’ markets, farmstands, restaurants and stores. For more listings of farms, visit www.seacoastharvest.org. The Seacoast Eat Local event Calendar includes listings of farmers’ markets by day of the week.
