Portraits of Hunger: Stories of Americans on Food Stamps

If you’ve visited our Winter Farmers’ Market this season, you may have noticed that we now offer the ability to purchase fresh food from the market with food stamps, also known as SNAP. One in seven of us receives help from the federal government to feed ourselves and our families through the food stamp program. This video from PBS tells just some of the stories behind the statistics. Help Seacoast Eat Local make local food accessible to everyone with a donation to our SNAP/EBT program, and thank-you for your support!
