One Million Gardens Can Change the World

Can having a garden save the world? With 40% of the problem of climate change due to the industrial globalized food production, getting your hands in the dirt is a start. As physicist and activist Dr. Vandana Shiva explains:

“Agriculture and food is an area where everyone can begin to dig. That is why the garden is so important, it teaches us that there’s something we’re all capable of doing. Only with so something so small, that can be in everyone’s hands, can we change the environment.”
