Farm & Forest Expo, February 4–5

Now in its 28th year, the 2012 NH Farm & Forest Expo — ”New Hampshire’s Greatest Winter Fair” — is coming to Manchester on Friday, February 3rd, to Saturday, February 4th. Looking forward to workshops such as “Growing a Better Beer in the Granite State,” ”The Backyard Hog,” and “Backyard Sugar Mapling,” and also the 2012 NH Women in Agriculture Conference:

There will something for everyone at the Expo, ”New Hampshire’s Greatest Winter Fair”, in 2012!  We’ve got our infamous FARMO game for kids of all ages, great exhibitors to visit, and interesting education sessions for you to learn something new at!  There will be student demonstrations, animals, and an auction too!

The presenting sponsors for the 2012 NH Farm & Forest Expo are the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, the NH Division of Forests & Lands and the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food. As a non-profit organization, a volunteer board of directors representing agriculture and forestry interests statewide oversees the annual operation of the exposition.

Admission price is $7 per person; age 15 and under admitted for free.  Save $1 off the admission price by bringing 2 non-perishable food items which will be donated to the  NH Food Bank!
