A View of the Winter Farmers’ Market

As much as it is about food and place, the Winter Farmers’ Market is about people. Last Saturday’s market was a record-setting one for us and, among the 2,368 of you that came, we saw the return of market regulars, as well as many new faces. Heartfelt thanks to our local food producers whose efforts make fresh food available in January, and to our many supporters who show that what they do is appreciated.

The next time you come to the market, share the bounty and bring someone new — introduce them to a new food, your favorite vendor, a healthier way of eating, or just a great way to spend a Saturday in winter. Help grow local food.

The Winter Farmers’ Market will return on Saturday, February 11th, to the Exeter High School in Exeter. We’ll be hosting CSA Days at both markets in February, and featuring farms offering CSA shares for the coming season — bring your questions and find out more about Community Supported Agriculture on the Seacoast.

See you at the next market!
