Winter Farmers’ Market Returns to Exeter, December 10

On Saturday, December 10th, 35+ farmers and food producers will be inside Exeter High School from 10am to 2pm for our next Winter Farmers’ Market. You can find a full list of participating vendors and the products they will be selling at

Exeter High School is located at 315 Epping Road, Exeter, NH. Follow Route 101 to exit 9, then route 27 west 1.8 miles. Here’s a map!

Look forward to:

Fruits and vegetables: cabbages, carrots, and cauliflower; leeks and lettuce;  kale and collards;  onions, garlic, and shallots; parsley, potatoes, and pumpkins, spinach, salad greens, sprouts, and Swiss chard — just for starters! There’s an astounding variety of the highest quality produce available at the markets.

Fresh eggs keep for up to five weeks in the refrigerator. Stock up now for your holiday baking; look for eggs from Hollister Family Farm, Mona Farm, Moor Farm, Sugarmomma’s Maple Farm, Burnt Swamp Farm, Harrison’s Poultry Farm, Hurd Farm, Jesta Farm, Kellie Brook Farm, Wild Miller Gardens, and Yellow House Farm.

Area food producers will be offering ready to eat meals, soups and stews, sausages and more, utilizing local ingredients in their recipes. Look for take home meals for busy nights from Kellie Brook Farm, Popper’s Artisanal Meats, Forty Five Market Street BakeryThe Soup Guy, and Riverslea Farm.

Interactive Market Maps allow you to see which vendor will be where inside the market. Many vendors are in different spots than last year, and with over 35 farmers and food producers, this tool is a way to help you find the foods you are looking for. Check out the interactive map of the Exeter market!

Product Search: Want to find out which farmers plan to have pork? Or beans? Or anything else you might hope to buy? Try the new product search!

Meet Our Vendors: You can view a full list of vendors participating in the season, read about their businesses, and find contact information for pre-ordering.

SNAP/EBT + Debit cards at the market: SNAP (foodstamps) can now be used at the winter farmers’ market. SNAP customers will swipe their EBT cards at the market info booth, and then use tokens to shop with approved vendors. Debit card customers can also purchase tokens to be used with all vendors. These tokens can also be purchased as gift certificates! For more information, email Partial funding for this project provided by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

Food Donations Welcome: Volunteers from the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry will be on hand to accept food donations from consumers and vendors on behalf of those in need on Saturday. The food pantry recently moved into a new home with additional fresh food storage and they are eager to help provide wholesome foods to those in need. Fresh foods are encouraged; consider buying extra potatoes, onions, or squash to donate.

Activities for the kids, while you shop! Screamers Cafe, a kid-friendly restaurant in Stratham, will be at the market this Saturday to provide kid’s cooking and craft activities to help make the shopping experience easier.  Parents will be able to take that extra minute to ask their farmers questions without the tug of a pant leg from a little one!

Many thanks to our sponsors for their generous support of the Winter Farmers’ Market: Veris Wealth Partners — Winter Season Underwriter; Exeter Hospital — Exeter Market Underwriter; and Bikram Yoga Portsmouth — Day Sponsor.

See you at the market!
