Cooking demonstrations are returning to the Winter Farmers’ Market for another season! Stop by the the Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford this Saturday, December 3rd, when Erin Allgood and Jennifer Purrenhage will show ways of cooking the versatile potato, our featured winter vegetable, along with other local ingredients.
Did you ever wonder how to cut apart a chicken? To go along with your potatoes, our own Sara Zoe Patterson will be demonstrating a simple step-by-step way for breaking down a whole chicken. Chicken demonstration is scheduled for around 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and other cooking demonstrations ongoing during market hours, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
