Celebrating Local Food at the Holiday Farmers’ Market

The moment before the opening of the Winter Farmers’ Market is always an exciting time for us. Volunteers arrive first, hours before, ready to help unload, with farmers and other vendors quickly following. Soon, everyone’s wares are on display, the musicians are in place, and the kids activity table is stocked. No market event is complete, though, until the arrival of all of you who come out to support local food. A heartfelt thank-you to all who help strengthen our local food economy — we couldn’t do it without you!

Our Winter Farmers’ Market will resume in January, with the next one taking place at Exeter High School on January 14th, and returning to the Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford on January 28th. A full schedule of area winter farmers’ markets is available online.

Until we see you next, Happy Holidays!
