The number of children diagnosed with food allergies is on the rise, and the impact of allergies on the child and their families cannot be ignored. Join us as we explore healthy food alternatives with Hannaford dietician Kathy Magoon, get the chance to ask questions to a food allergies expert and dietitian Dana Dougherty, sample tasty alternative products that can take the place of those “can’t eat” foods in the home or school setting and take-home recipes for the whole family to enjoy.
Dana Dougherty is a registered dietitian, licensed in the state of New Hampshire. She currently is employed by Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and rehab facility as a Registered Dietitian. When not working at the medical center she continues to work on her own business, helping clients with weight loss and their dietary needs. Her knowledge of gluten free diets comes into play based her son’s dietary needs. Dana’s son is an 18 year old boy with Autism which motivated Dana to immerse herself in dietary solutions to his many challenges.
