It’s National Farm to School Month!

October marks the first National Farm to School Month, to help communities, schools and other organizations raise awareness about the value of connecting students with local food. To celebrate, schools across the country are inviting farmers and chefs to visit schools during October.

The profile page on New Hampshire shows the Farm to School movement here is thriving: a total of 278 schools involved, and an estimated 66 programs!
