Heirloom Harvest Barn Dinner on NH Chronicle

Tune into New Hampshire Chronicle this Monday when they feature last month’s Heirloom Harvest Barn Dinner — a collaboration of the Heirloom Harvest Project, Seacoast Eat Local, and Slow Food Seacoast — followed by a visit to Strawbery Banke to learn about heirloom seeds.

Have you ever heard of a Gilfeather Turnip or a Boston Marrow Squash? Well they are just a couple of the delicious vegetables that were served up at the Heirloom Harvest Barn Dinner in Stratham. The annual supper celebrates locally raised produce, all original to our soil.

We also head to Strawbery Banke to look at the history of the heirloom seeds and tell you how you can grow your own!
