The Sheer Ecstacy of Hearing Joel Salatin

Last week’s appearance by Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm was a rare opportunity to hear him live, and the intimate setting in Portsmouth made for an even more personal experience. Many thanks to Veris Wealth Partners for making the evening possible, and to GreenStart, our co-sponsors. Special thanks go to all those who attended, we appreciated your patience and willingness to make a small venue work!

Portsmouth Community Radio was also there and has made a recording of the evening’s presentation available online. Via the Greater Seacoast Permaculture Group:

Renowned Author and Farmer Speaks in Portsmouth
September 22, 2011

Author and well-known holistic farmer Joel Salatin spoke on the importance of locally-produced food and “The Sheer Ecstacy of Being a Lunatic Farmer“  on September 22nd at the Seacoast Rep, co-sponsored by “Seacoast Eat Local.”  The event was standing-room-only, and video-cast to another room in the theater.

WSCA’s producers of “The Environmental Show” and “Making Waves” were there to record the speech to be aired on future shows. But you can also listen to the unedited version now.
