Foodworks: Trying New Foods Workshop, Children’s Museum of NH

Foodworks: Trying New Foods Workshop
Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, 6 Washington Street, Dover, NH
Saturday, September 17, 2011
10:30 a.m. – 12 noon

Have a picky eater? Join us for a fun and engaging multi-sensory workshop as a Hannaford nutritionist helps you with getting your child to try new foods. Dr. Karrie Kalich, Registered Dietitian and Associate Professor of Health Science at Keene State College, is the co-author of Early Sprouts. She will provide parents and caregivers helpful hints and strategies for getting children to try new foods at 10:30 & 11:15 am, while museum staff encourage visiting children to “play with their food” by creating and tasting edible art, making Produce People and playing a fruit and vegetable guessing game.

All activities are included in regular paid admission and free for museum members.
