George Davis, past president of the Boston Mycological Club, will give an introductory talk on mushrooms and other fungi and their importance to the herbs, plants and trees around us. He’ll explain the basics of mushroom identification with a focus on mushrooms that are common to the Seacoast of New Hampshire. He will have samples of local mushrooms to help in identifying the range of mushrooms available on the Seacoast. The program is hosted by the Herb Society of America’s Northeast Seacoast Unit.
