To begin with, there are a few things you may already know. You may already know that Maple Sugar Weekend is March 27 and 28. And you may already know about Harrisons Poultry. But what you may not know yet is that the folks at Harrisons Poulty have been hard at work over the past few months getting ready to open their new sugarhouse for the 2010 NH Maple Sugar Weekend. It’s called Sweet Water Maple House, 264 Tower Hill Road, Candia. They will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days of Maple Sugar Weekend. There will be lots to do and try including maple syrup, maple candy, maple cotton candy, campfire sing-alongs, farm tours, and more. As well as demonstrations of tree taping and maple sugaring methods (old and new). You can visit their website, www.sweetwatermaple.com, for more information. Or visit the New Hampshire Maple Producers website to see all the sugarhouses that will be holding events on NH Maple Sugar Weekend.
